3. Registration Fee

Registration for the conference will be US$60 if paid by February 29, 2003 and US$75 if paid on March 1, 2003 or later. Registration for graduate students will be US$25 if paid by February 29, 2003 and US$30 if paid on March 1, 2003 or later.

Prepayment will speed up the registration process.

4. Reimbursement

Foreign nationals (individuals who are neither US citizens nor US permanent residents) who want to get reimbursed for their expenses must make sure that their visa status allows for such reimbursement. According to the rules, reimbursement is possible if you have B-1(business) visa, J visa or H visa of various types. Citizens of countries who have visa waiver agreement with the US must have the Visa Waiver for Business in order to get reimbursed. Please make sure that your visa status is appropriate for reimbursement!

We will try to support graduate students and post-docs as well as some faculty members who do not have other sources of support. Graduate students and post-docs seeking support should ask their advisors to submit a short letter of recommendation for support. The letter should be sent, preferably, by e-mail to stdc04@math.uab.edu or, by regular mail to
